Agent JR Rickert is pleased to announce that Syracuse University receiver Marcus Sales has signed with JR Sports Enterprises for exclusive contract representation, marketing and public relations. Sales will be a candidate in the 2013 NFL Draft.
The 6’0” and 190 pounder who is also a native of Syracuse, New York is coming off of a season with 64 receptions for 882 yards and 8 touchdowns. For his career, Sales has 132 career catches and 1,780 yards with 16 touchdowns.
In preparation for his professional career, Sales will begin training at Derek Touchette’s Total Athletic Performance center in Naples, Florida. Sales will also play in the prestigious Texas vs. the Nation All Star Game on February 2nd.
In assessing his new client, Rickert said “Marcus Sales had a great season this year and made some big catches for his team. He has yet to scratch the surface of his potential and has tremendous upside as an NFL receiver.”
Sales’ talents were first noticed by JRSE’s NFL division director Ray Brownell. “We are extremely pleased to have Marcus in our family as a client. He will work very hard and will make an impression on scouts at his all star week and at his pro day,” said Brownell.
Sales became the 2nd client for the 2013 NFL draft for JRSE, which is now exclusively partnered with Peter Schaffer’s Authentic Athletix. Rickert and Schaffer make up one of the top agent tandems in the NFL today.
